"My Pet Vampire"

Films: The Shed (2019)

Alias: Bane

Type: Mystical

Location: Forest/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Vampires suck, literally. Feral vampires are even worse. They just exist for the taste of blood and the spread of their kind. A couple of guys found one in a shed, but one took it too far...

History: Long ago, a soldier managed to kill a vampire out in the woods, but ended up bitten and infected, forcing him to retreat into a nearby shed to get away from the sunlight. Years later, a teen and his friend Dommer find out that the man in there has become a feral vampire himself. Seeing this as an opportunity to get back at his bullies, Dommer brings his tormentors to the shed just so they can get eaten. Naturally, this is a terrible idea.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After Dommer gets turned and killed by sunlight, Bane is finally put down when he gets his head chopped off. However, it is implied that there is a vampire lurking in the trunk of a car...

Powers/Abilities: Super strength/speed, a bite that spreads the curse.

Weakness: Sunlight, decapitation.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Bane is ultimately a pathetic victim of circumstance, even as a savage vampire. His plight is akin to an abused attack animal. That doesn't make him any less dangerous, though.

Trivia: -Pretty much everything about vampires being killed by sunlight, like a lot of things about them, was a cinematic development, starting with "Nosferatu".

-This film was directed by Frank Sabatella, whose filmography is mostly low-budget supernatural horror.
